To help you sleep. Really, how many times have you seen monkeys snoozing at the zoo?  Bananas, like milk have triptophan which stimulates the production of melatonin for sleep and seratonin in the brain that induces calmness.  Milk, bananas and a turkey sandwich an hour or two before bed and sweet sleep is on it’s way.
